Hi Guys,
 
I am in need of some advise. What was the most powerful Kent engine that the mk1 Escort was brought out with.
Also was there a  model that had double valve springs?

In Australia it was the 1300GT. However some could argue the Lotus engine used the same/similar block/bottom end. In the UK there was obviously the Mexico which was a 1600.

Luckily decent 1600 engines are plentiful here in Australia from the mk2's.
