How did you get all that information on your recording?

Hi Eskie92, Ryan used Harry Lap Timer app.

I had some tech issues, I use Trackmaster app which would not work for me on the day but my passenger (Sundowner from forum) tracked the runs with a Garmin using Strava. When he was in with me he was manually clocking times of 1.30 but since pulling the data has found the track is already on Strava with split points which showed I was doing some 1.28s (I'm guessing these were my solo runs)

Also had a fail with GoPro footage. Was running two, one didn't work at all and the other only had a 4gb card so got my half way through the day whilst everything was fairly tame. I wish I'd footage of the session after rain - the rev limiter got a bashing!

This is only footage of damp track before GoPro was full.

Looking forward to the next one.

Thanks Rhys, yea got a mate to put the ap on dads iphone and used that. It can record video and uses the accelerometers in the phone to record g forces. You download the track before you go out and the phone uses gps to track where and how fast you are. After you finish recording you can press "overlay" and the ap puts the data over the video and saves it onto the phone. For some reason the g sensors didnt work in one of the videos but worked for the rest of it, not sure what went wrong there.

Rhys, that boofhead in that red escort was holding you up! hahaha. By the way ive never seen gear changes as fast as those :)

Very impressed with your driving mate and your car is very quick. Good vids!

BTW. You're shift light doesn't match where you shift. It's quite early.

G'Day Nathan,

Std 4speed still doing the job. I changed to Redline Lightwieght shockproof gear oil which stopped the crunch from 2nd to 3rd when hot. I've had a Celica 5speed conversion for years for it but I don't think I'll bother until I break a 4speed.

Yeh I think I had shift light set around 6000rpm and limiter at 6500rpm. Would have to check but haven't changed this from the old motor.

I was running on the Shannons Advert  moto for the day - I shift by feel....
