A couple of us are joining another car club in a private track day out at Mallala, its a Grip day but skid pan will be open if you like the drift side of things.
 
There is still a couple of spots left.
 
Price $210 plus CAMS or AASA licence.

I dont think ill be able to make this one anymore.  just entered the windy point hillclimb so broke + ill be in loxton the day before so timing is bad.  have fun though, ill def be at the next one

For those who have not attended a track day and may be unsure whether to do it;
 
Dont think you have to have race cars to do a track day, at the last one I did (organised through the same crowd) there was an old laser that even I was beating! Everybody was very sensible about passing so different speeds of cars wasnt an issue at all.
 
Last time with 26 cars (think maybe 30-odd this time) the track was very quiet all day, I was amazed at how little some people went out. I pretty much went on track, came into the pits to have a rest then went out again. Did that all day.
 
Its the perfect oportunity to have some legal fun with your car, and by fun I mean you will have a smile from ear-to-ear all day :)

Yeh with some sticky rubber it should be pretty quick.
 
Interested Glenn? Gives just over a month of shakedown testing? Or the day could be used as testing for new motor?

also need to spend some money on the new house (shed) and id like to buy a different carbie as the one on there isnt mine and a little on the big side also needs a new lift pump and some stickier rubber on the back.. 
 
probably this ones a little outa my reach time lime wise, but im keen on others in the future,

There was a wide range of cars last time, lots of subarus which werent actually that good (compared to escorts) in the corners. Id only do at best a low 1.40s or high 1.30s and id assume you would be a low 1.30 or high 1.20, so my mates r33 will be very close to you. If he figures out how to drive a rwd after driving his liberty
