Hi guys I've gota mk2 RS. It's lowered a bit, uprated suspension etc. currently running 7x13 rims tyres etc. I'm wanting to know if I can fit 7x15 rims et35 on it? Looking at going for low profile tyres too, (how low can I go????) also how wide? Is 225 too wide?

Sorry for what may seem like a basic question but I've not completely sure and will be sorting most of it out from overseas :(

Mine has 15x7 with an offset of P12 fitted with 195/50/15 tyres and they clear everything.  The offset you mention sounds like a front wheel drive offset which if it is will most likely hit the struts on the front

15x7 +15-20 is probably the best offset. Either side of that you'll need to check clearances.
For tyres 195/50/15 are the best bet. Easy to source, and pretty cheap. Also more semi slick tyres available too.
You could always use concentric spacers with those wheels your looking at, which may need longer studs to compensate. But some don't recommend it using spacers.
 

I haven't seen any reports of problems with 15x7 ET12 provided the rubber doesn't get too wide (will be using 195/50s myself).  I wouldn't use ET35 myself, as they place the wheel too far inside the guard for my taste.  You might run into trouble with that sized wheel hitting the front struts too.
