Won't be there in my RS this year coz I'm overseas again! Can someone please be sure to post loads of photos to the rsocv website or on here. Especially of the mk2 RS coupes ;)

We had 11 volunteers last year (Inc the committee) and this year we had 34 so this made it seem a lot less hard work than last year and we could spend a bit of time to actually take it all in.
 
We really try to do the best we can to put on a great show and to hear comments such as yours makes it all worthwhile.
 
Pity we didn't catch up.

what an awesome day guys. Absolutely top notch.
 
Awesome venue, great turnout, and awesome weather. That breeze off the water really did take the temp down a fair bit.
 
Was really great to see a bunch of other escorts (especially the MK2 RS's!).
 
I didn't see many people selling stuff out of their boots, did I miss them, or was there not much of that this year?.
 
Anyway, hats off guys. Be proud of what you achieved today.
 
And those souvlakis were excellent!
 
Look forward to seeing some photos of the day.

We normally have a section for the 2nd hand parts dealers but no one was keen this year.
 
We don't really have a lot of guys selling stuff from their boots.

Unfortunately at the last minute I had a number of things come up and had to miss my first event in years! :(

I was even set to bring the escort!

Still, I have printed out the membership form, just got to get a cheque/money order and will drop it in the post.

I'm sure all put on another great show.

Was my best SFS ever, even though I decided not to take the race car down as it was a bit warm. What made it so great you may ask
talking amongst a group of Mk1 cortina guys, I heard a whisper of a car for sale, a MK 1 GT.
I have managed to buy back the car that I sold in 1988.
