I had all intentions of not going over 6000rpm on the fresh engine but 4.4 diffs dont agree with that sort of plan. It was really strong all day until the plug fell out of the speedo drive on the gearbox!

That was sensational Gareth, I loved every second of it. Brought back so many memories. That was GOLD mate

It had plenty of dyno time, big revs shouldnt hurt it :)

Whooligan, Wayne went ok for a first time out and had fun until his car burst an oil cooler hose on the dummy grid. Better there than at full noise!
They were running 15 minute sessions rather than the old "XX" number of laps format. I reckon this way is heaps better! Not sure who it was in the blue EVO but Cam's is white so it wasnt him.
 
Our entire class was small Fords with 3 MK1's, 4 red 2 door RS2000's and a yellow Anglia. It was a top day and it pretty much stopped raining as we pulled into the carpark in the Prado so the track dried out after the first session.
