So I think I have found the problem. I have to be honest I was pulling my hair out not knowing what it could be. The entire front end is new or so near new (less than 2000km) that I was really struggling to think what it could be.
Thinking it was possibly the hub or the way the disc had mated with the hub I put a dial gauge on the disc, hub face and then drivers side hub and the passenger side disc. I also did this on both front struts so I could rule that out although I highly doubted anything was wrong with the strut.
Seems to be that the brand new disc is warped. See video. If it could be anything else though I’m all ears.
I’ve checked the mating faces, checked the alignment and then taken it back and reset it again. I’ve checked the steering rack and then replaced it with a new one just to rule that out and then checked that again! I’ve tried my best to measure the struts and then did the above mentioned swap of all front components to try and determine what the issue is and as before it seems to be the disc. I’ve also had the wheels balanced twice at two different places. The second guy looked at me a bit strange from the balancing machine but obliged with taking the weights off and putting the same ones back on the rim.
