Hi all, done some work on her, just little bits but they take time dont they. the rear is almost complete except the rear bar and most of the trim is done, back seat, seat belts, door trims and half the dash. brakes are almost finished, i dont mess with brakes (no second hand crap), so their all new from brake lines, to new pistons and seals and pads front and rear. I found a shop in Scotland selling the rear light seal at a great price. Their seals are great and fit like a glove. Hopefully i can find some more time next week to get her finished, Between getting my new red v6 going and some landscaping done. Here's some pics of the progress. Bruce you've seen most of these. O

Well I've been getting stuck in lately, the rear end has been removed, rebuilt and painted, And a new set of wheels are getting painted for it, I've to get some new steel brake lines made up as i converted it from a UK single master cylinder to an Aussie dual system, and the brake pads are dirrerent in the rear ( there not a wide as v6 ones) The last three problems i had were the radiator( the outlet's are two small and in the wrong spot ) which should be picked up in the next two days, the brakes which are nearly done, and the tail shaft. The tailshaft im thicking of getting a new one made as the front half is 1600 ( is the yoke the same for a v6 and a 1.6 manual ) and the rear is v6. i have a standard 1600 manual and an auto v6 shaft that i was ging to split at the centre coupling and join them together and get it rebalanced, but i might aswell just get a new one. Hopefully the brakes should be done by next weekend all engine support systems should be buttoned up and i might be ready to start it. :) cheers O

Well all the brake lines are in, but im having trouble getting new rear brake shoes. it has an atlas but the drum is 1/2 inch narrower than a v6 so v6 shoes wont fit. radiator is in and all hoses are on, i also have nearly finished my dash facia, i wanted to do something different and bring some colour inisde as the trim is mostly black, i also going to cover the consol pieces. I just need some more carpet to complete the interior. Cheers O

Are my eye's playing tricks ? [:u] It looks like there's a different set of wheels on this car in every photo ? I like the Simmons "O" I think they would look the part on the "V6 Beater" and the widened Rostyles on the "Green Meanie" But with so many sets of wheels you could have a different look at each run and then some [(#)]
