hey kizza when i was checking up on sizes for the throttle body wasp performance had a s15 there own car and ran back to back tests on there dyno and they said they lost power with the larger one i did see some of there dyno read outs which did indicate to me 75 was better all round, i never brought a throttle body off them so there was no sales reason for the info and they seemed a good bunch of people with some good knowlage of the product however if you have a larger one then you may as well try it but it may suffer with response ? poss ?

andy mate,
the radiator is a cheap option and would definately recommend it for a NA setup, not sure if you saw the photo's ive had to notch out the bottom of the radiator to get it low enough between the chassis rails.

if i were to do it again i would probably go something about 50mm skinnier (across ways) because the majority of the intercoolers on the market max out at 31"(787mm) which is including inlet out let pipes.

ive found a massive intercooler that has a 700 x 300 x 100core with tanks that i can modify to wrap around the rad.

if my measurements are correct i should be able to fit this behind the grill still! im a little concerned about the 100mm thickness because id rather keep it down to 80mm because now the crank wheel is closer to the rad.

dammit henry why couldnt you make the escort 20mm longer in the front!?!

if you dont mind me asking how much did you pay for your flywheel? and what should i expect for cams and valve springs?

rear mounted radiator the extra space is why i used the rs front in the end but i like the flat front more . slighty longer wheel base would be better to slide too .

hey Shea,
good work mate...what you doing with the outlet of the radiator mine sits bloody close to the alternator...could chop it off and get an angled pipe welded on???

but was thinking change the alternator to the other side of the engine??? any thoughts??

hey barney, i know what you mean. i'll be modding the radiator to either bottom or angled feed, i couldnt imagine the can of worms id be opening by trying to change sides of the altenator. still haven't found the perfect intercooler.
came off the motorbike on the weekend so now ive got a couple of days to myself. might get out in the shed and do some measuring like the one armed bandit i am.
