Yep. I've added I a bit of extra support to the cup. Drive line angles are pretty good. Hard to show with a picture. But 3 years of circuit racing and hillclimbs and all good.

And here a day later. Not so good. I need a new cross member now! The chasis was push over but all pulled back out now.

HEY PROEY

have you got any internal pic of the car i am using andy's modified x-member and i think if the motor sits backs anymore the gear shift lever would be a prick to get to.???
so you are using standard eski x-member and modified the mounts on the motor i assume??
Man i would love the rs front end just for a bit more room to fit the radiator and intercooler!!!

Sorry I should have been a bit clearer. The mounts I was talking about were the black bits of rubber. the cross member has been cut at the required angle and 6mm plate welded to it. What I did was put the motor in the bay roughly where I wanted it with the escort rubber mounts bolted to the nissan brackets and then marked the angle on the escort cross member. I then measured the plates required. Once the cross member was cut I welded the plates to it. Sounds simple but lots of double checking and I got it wrong as I need a 6mm spacer on one side and a 10mm on the other.

As for the shifter location its about 20-30mm back further than a sierra 5 speed. I modded the nissan shifter as the original is bent from memory.
