Cracking photos Mish. The car looks excellent.
I'm loving how that front wheel sits under the guard too, can't believe it doesn't rub anywhere.

Funny you should bring that up Hak,

both locations were tight access, one being a unused warf and the other a walking path along the yarra.
about the 2nd shot in i moved the car only to be at the right amount of lock and wheel travel for it to somehow grab the guard, sadly it brock the side of my mex spoiler and pull up the guard pretty badly cracking all the paint, but i just bent it on back and put a bigger washer under the bolt for the spoiler, now ive just got to work out a better way of mounting it all

Have you tried 14's mish? might be a good compromise. i had some 14x7 Performance Globes recently but offset wasn't right and couldn't be machined due to the depth of stud holes.

The local Bridgestone dealer refused to fit 185 60 14 RE001 Potenzas to the 7" rims because of liability issues so I guess Qld is just as strict as far as stretching goes. I imagine it would be an insurance issue too, no coverage in the event of a crash???

The more-door's looking very fine

Ive never really contemplated 14's due to the lack of tyre size and brands available, only reasons im still persisting with the 15's is cos ive already got them.

Yeah tyre shops get real ancy about stretched tyres, luckily my shop we use for work is happy enough to let me use their machines after hours or weekends and without any form of invoice they cant be held responsible for anything.
As for insurance, well if they get as far as tyre sizing for me well they have missed alot of other important stuff first.

Finally got around to trying the hotwires on the car the other night.
Mounted an old pair of FF Avon tyres on them to use for a upcoming motorkhana day to use as steers.

fairly happy with the look. after the motorkhana i will mount my ao48s on these and give them a work out

looks good, ive always been a fan of the white lettering on those tyres. Have you used the avons cold before? Mine don't grip at all till they heat up but that could be because they are pretty old.

If you get some pics or videos of the motorkhana Id be really keen to have a look

Cheers,
Ryan

Ryan, i havent used the Avons before, but ive herd from a few people they can get pretty scary when they are over heated, the only reason im using them on the front is due to the course surface the motor khana is on will take the edges off my normal steer tyres, these are cheap and fairly grippy, and i already had a pair lying around.

Matt, Correct. i should probably fill out my entry form soon too.
PS that damn orange wont come off either

Yep, Get on it.  I have my LSD this year so looking forward to lack of understeer so that'll just leave me with a lack of talent.
