also because im really bad at doing one thing at a time as we all know..
i started nutting out the dash today also, my initial plan of running 4x 2inch gauges and 2x 3 3/8inch gauges in the cluster was a bit ambitious, with then faces of the gauges just fitting in but leaving zero room around the egdes to the outer cluster and also no room on the rear of the gauges for the spin on rings to fit.

as you can see the spin on rings are a fair amount larger than the gauge bezel
So ive ditched that plan and told myself that was too many gauges to look at anyways

so im going to run the two big gauges in the factory positions and then run two of the smaller gauges side by side in the centre and keep the factory indicator and warning lamps.
did some tinkering and cutting
will make up a backing plate to mount the gauges in and reassemble the cluster and it should look pretty decent, then i will run the other two gauges in the centre console where i already have some cheapy speco units.
