I've crunched the numbers and the 7.5" rs's with their -19 offset with sit out further than the 8's currently on the car. So they are out.
Been looking at revolution 4 spokes in 7" with a +6 offset. Should allow me to run a 205/60 without gaurd problems.

But I'm a big time closet hotwires fan. After having been lent the 7's for the rear at the skidpan day I wouldn't mine getting a set of them either.
So if anyone has a set. Or knows someone with a set they want to offload let me know. If not its either the revo's or some alleycats

Don't mind the old 13 x 7 hotwires myself, had a set on my old escort.

Zac have you considered Rally Specials by JBW, similar to hotwires

Stiffer rear springs and/or rear sway bar will make the inside rear well pick up worse.
If you want both wheels to stay on terra firma, soften the rear.

Daz the rally specials are Jbw's version of the alleycats. I've been looking into both those or the 13x7 inch starmags.

Mud. It's the inside front wheel that lifts.

Hi Mish,

Mine also lifts inside front wheel since I removed sway bar. But that's because its hooking up rear alot better. With swaybar on it tended to want to kick out in the rear alot easier as it sat flatter through corners but obviously some drive is lost.
By the sounds of it your happy so some lost drive and more slide? If so I'd put rear sway bar back on.

Go the Hotwires!

Thanks for the info Rhys, exactly what I wanted to hear some first person experience. Now I only wish I.didn't sell.my old swaybar setup with my old diff.
It was an aftermarket style that connects to the diff via mounts attached with u bolts. Is this the norm for an escort ???
