I've just done a search on one of my Capris and found it was first registered in Jan 1973. This surprises me as it was built 9 / 72. As I have stated before it has 34053p as it's chassis number well after the special 11 were sold. It's ice blue so might be cause no one liked the colour.

My Red pepper special was first sold and registered on 8-5-73. It would be interesting to see if anyone has a later new aussie built first reg capri mk1
