JP, … I have no doubt that your status as a parts remover, after the marathon will be elevated to
Grand Master, … Justin Payne GMPR, aint that swish, You'll be guilty of, causing the Smile on the
face of Ajax, Me, and others, it's your cross to bear, … LOL. … … I have ordered a Fibreglass Bubble
today from Geoff Wade, another in the Grand Master class. my Mk2 has now priority, when Mk1 is
elevated, i'll be back to Grand Master Wade, for the Mk1 dashpad parts, he helpfully suggested.
Smoke here yesterday was really Bad, I found it hard to draw a breath. Keeping the Dam pump
ready to go, Cheers, Geoff  … it's just getting light here, can only see about 100metres, another
smokey day.!

Keep the fluids & salt tabs up today guys, we had some 38's i was like a limp rag, but 43, i'd be ded

Ok guys,
cooler weather and less on at work means Ive had a chance of attacking the 1/4 cut.
here are a few photos of the parts.
bubble -Ajax -  will take to it with the wire wheel to remove the crap from the inside and see how thin the metal is, at the moment it looks good

Bulkhead top - Geoff -  will also take to it with the wire wheel to clean up 30 years of buildup. there is minimal pitting at the base where the drain in the bubble was. I think this will clean up OK. More holes than I wanted the 8mm spot weld drill wasn't large enough so out came the 10mm so will need some hole filling prior to use, sorry about the crap photos it was dark and well I'm a crap photographer

Passenger scuttle - zetec mk2 - Drivers lower corner - zewtec mk2 Ill get some photos when Im up there on the weekend, still attached to the dash and upper bulkhead as I ran out of time to remove them.
I also managed to save the hinge panels and flitch? panels as they had to come off to get under the bulkhead panel

here is my bit ready to be stripped of the chassis rails

cheers

Ok
I have some not so good news, otherwise known as bad news!
Bubble came Off OK and is nice and straight but it has a few pin holes in its base

The upper bulkhead hasn't fared as well, Its generally pretty straight but the heater fan shroud has plenty of rust in it to the point it almost disintegrated with the wire wheel. The bulkhead is Ok with a bit of pitting along the front edge and a few (repairable) tears from the chisel. No photos. battery died, depending on which bit you needed it might be useable but most likely not to repair the common rust points
The drivers A post is the best with minimal surface rust or evidence of it

The passenger A pillar isn't quite as good with a small amount of rust adjacent the door retainer strap boss

and a bit of pitting to the door aperture

and the turret corner has a small dent in it (easily repairable)

the undersides are in good condition the sill front edges have been damaged by the workshop cutting it out/forklift and big grinder/cutter
If your still interested let me know and we can discuss price and post/pickup. No dramas if your not.
Cheers
