I have NOS Speakers from the 70's that look like yours, assuming yours comes away from the base plate which
it appears to do. Mine doesn't have the Ford stamp. From memory, mine is Plessey, Motorola or Pioneer or such known name. If you don't do any better and still interested, send dimensions and spacing of 4 holes.

Cannot help with the dimensions Bernie as I don't have a speaker. Those pic's were off the net and are not mine.
 
I need the speaker and the bracket as per the picture. The dash only has 2 holes for the screws.

I have one that isn't for sale, but I could take some measurements from, so let me know exactly which ones you want. 
 
I was hoping to upgrade, and found a vintage replacement speaker place in the USA, but nothing fits - the Escort one is a weird beast.  I'm now thinking I might try to fit a mid-range and a tweeter in custom mount or something.
