I know. Dave does racing so he's in my ear about timings like i say - since the motors coming out and we can change the cam.
I think it will be long time b 4 i can afford a dyne by the sound of the prices.

well its showing very rich on the exhaust sensor.

None of your links work!

Spitting out of the carbs can be many things, including fuel.

If "Dave" is it to racing so much can't he tune it for you? I am assuming you have a wideband which is all you really need.

The cranking compression is very important information along with the cam data

he probably could/would if i asked and wanted to.
I however like to do these things myself coz then i learn.
It gets awfully expensive if you have to run to a mechanic everytime.

It a narrow band - wide band wont work with gauge.

aremed with stock specs and several cam alternatives we will have a chat and see what we are gonna do.
In the meantime i think i am going to play slightly with cam timing to see what happens.
Dave (who took me for a spin in thier racing 3.9L triumph V8 - scary fast!!!!) commented that the burton cam which is jut a few degrees different to mine would still be significant different performance wise.

Buy a wideband it will be the best money you ever spent if you want to learn. They're dirt cheap nowadays.

That cam card had very little information, not enough to degree it in or a comparison.

I HIGHLY recommend doing a compression test. This will give you a lot of information. If you have very low compression and mechanically all is good then this normally means the compression ratio is not what you thought or the lobe centres are really wide.

In my experience I have seen cams ground on wide lsa's then installed straight up. This puts the intake lobe in effectively "retarded". You end up with a really lazy motor.
