Hi V8GT
I am pleased your lights fitted & unfortunately, I bought mine from one of the other sellers.
The guy that sells yours says in his add:These quality glass lights have provision for a parking light (park globes not included).
All the sellers seem to use the same photos so there appears to be some differences in the actual product. The guy I bought mine from did not have in his add any statement about parking lights. I did not pick this difference out until well after the sale.
Thank you all for your comments & suggestions.

v8GT reference re Capri Headlamps are branded "AUTOPAL" which I know for fact are made in India and are NOT ADR approved and look wrong from a purist point of view.   Don't expect to see well with non genuine, or be able to "aim" the beam professionally, as can only be found with "Lucas" original Made in England, as well as "Stanley" and "Koito".
In their favour, however, is that they do fit, and do have the park lamp provision, and "Autopal" did orig make them as semi as well as fully sealed. What else can you do if nothing else is available, or GENUINE used Lucas is outside of budget ?!
I will mention that "Stanley" & "Koito" brands of Japan, if you can ever find them, are so close to genuine in all aspects, except the "Lucas" logo, it brings tears to my eyes !
Genuine Lucas as well as Stanley and Koito, have not been made in many decades.
I was lucky enough to find a set of each in as-new condition from a clearance sale on the M~ Peninsula recently !
4 headlamps just lying there after thousands of "pickers" went before me ! .....and a VH40 Brake Booster !
I thought I died and went to "spare parts heaven" !!!
When I found my GTV6 Mk1 Delete 4 years ago, she was fitted with "Stanley" Fully Sealed 75W/60W Halogen, as well as Hella 100WDriving lamps, and I am still impressed with the "Stanleys" even when the Hellas aren't on !
These collectable cars are so seldomly used at night, we can expect them to last a very long time electrically speaking. Good reason to invest or make your own COVERS or protectors, lest a stone should find its way straight thru the Headlamp and ruin your year.
Even a flat piece of perspex held in place with a few light springs will help till better comes along

i brought some after market ones as well that did have the parklights in them autopal ones, wasnt happy with the glass was 10mm shorter width at the centre  than the h4 hellas , so i sourced the h4 hella glass lenses  from a wrecker  took the auto pal glass lenses of and sikaflexed the h4 glass ones on to the autopal casing

Rod, did you notice if swapping lenses made those INDIAN AutoPal throw out a better beam, or nothing improved those non-engineered "reflectors"?

Can anyone comment please, whether all Capris had 4 little rubber grommets on the corners of the Headlamp Bucket to act as a "bed" for the headlamp to rest on ? I just happened to notice the other day, one still clinging for dear life ! .......The other 7 were missing and "packing" was used to stop looseness. They were correct lamps albeit of the Japanese maker "Stanley", which I know are "correct fit" from years in the trade. Just to be sure, I tried a Genuine UK "Lucas"..........exactly the same.

SUMMING UP:  AVOID "AUTOPAL" Headlamps at all costs; they are absolute rubbish made in INDIA many decades ago and still hanging around like a bad smell at many "swap meets", & Garage sales, and ON-LINE, etc

yeah it did throw out a better beam,  well it seem to havent driven with them but it looks much more better than the standard autopal ones ... the reflectors are not that great and whatever ya do dont even wipe the autopal ones lucky i had spare as the chrome reflective paint they use is crap comes of very easy .... if i can find another hella h4 original one with good reflector ill probably swap em back to the hella or lucas .. got one real good hella h4 one but looked better than a autopal even after all these yrs . the hella still had better chrome than the new autopal ...

didnt seem to have any rubber grommets on all 4 corners  or i just didnt notice them  but they are on very secure and dont move except the adjuster screws ... one thing i did notice is that some of my headlight cover  surrounds,  the metal ones that screw down to the slam panel .. some have holes you stick screwdriver thru to screw to adjust the beam direction etc without taking them off to do it and others dont have the holes

so funny ! ......my covers have the so called "adjuster hole" that doesn't even come close to lining up !!!!
I asked a guy who seems to have everything, and he reckons he has a vgc Hella H4 Capri, but he wants drug money for it, so I didnt bother asking exact cost when he started blurting out "$$$100's$$$". I looked at it and it does look VGC as he said.

I've got street legal, E marked Autopal multi-surface reflector headlights in my Escort, and think they are great. Way more light output than the stock Lucas 'prince of darkness' halogens, they fit stock mounting rings, come with parking lamps, are cheap as chips, the works. Not factory original, but I'd rather see where I'm going.

Autopal must be under new owners, or they've woken up to their plight if they continued as before making rubbish.
Good to hear they're making a good product.  Who from and how much ?
Cheers

I bought a couple of these at $25 each (inc GST):

They don't quite look the same as in the photo either; the bulb reflector is different. Some people don't like them (I don't care either way myself), but UK suppliers sell ones without if that's more your thing.

I bought a Narva headlight kit for the escort as soon as I got it, then found it already had upgraded Halogen headlamps. (idiot).
