Just about to fit pinto into escort with WCXM. Can anybody tell which side the short mount goes on (if you are looking from the front of the car). Funny thing is that ive built around 5/6 rally cars ov the same spec, with the last being around 1996 , but now forgott evrything . Can any 1 help!

Long engine mount is on the driver's side & the short engine mount fits to the passenger side.

Longer one goes on the same side as the steering column.  It prevents fouling of the steering knuckle joint.
