Well, just got the exhaust made on my 2 door, now i'm driving it and couldn't be happier :) :)

I still think I need to tune it a bit nicer... But :) and did I mention :)

The 15x7 superlights seem sweet as, and the turbo 1600 kent seems a sheite load more drivable then the old worked off its tits 1700 non-crossflow.

Just took it out tonight with the other half for a bit of a drive, and its cool to be driving it again :)

Cheers,

Steve

did I mention I'm stoked to be driving it again>? :)

PS- may go for a cruise and have a looksee at the bay to birdwood on Sunday....

It's really exciting to have an old girl back on the road!

You'll have to get some pics up when you get the chance, for those of us that haven't seen it!

Haha your plates are gold - stock like a fox!

Mate seriously, that car looks exceptional. I'd be extremely proud of such a work of art. Enjoy it, I love it.

Cheers Tim,

I love it, and it goes half decent, too :)

But Shes no thrasher, I drive my old girl with respect, after the first g/box went bang under load :( I like it because its something different :)

The story behind the plates is- when I bought the car, it had normal SA plates, and on the lower part of the plates, it had 'stocky' written on them. STOCKY was taken as a custom plate, so I come up with STKMK-1 or Stock MK1- close enough I thought :)

Some people don't get it though, I spose it can keep them guessing haha,

Cheers,

Steve

Took it out on the Bay to Birdwood on Sunday (Yesterday) Man what a cruise ! Was a ball!! Caught up with a white 4 door GT mk1 Cortina, And his brother in a green mk1 RS2000 Escort, so that was cool :) Hopefully next year I can enter it officially.
