Has anyone had any experience with using a fibreglass front valance on a Capri?
Was it a good fit and how did you go affixing it etc.?

I was under the belief that these are available in steel ; I saw mention of such, somewhere in here, from someone
who had success in fitting the new steel repro one he purchased.
Keep it original is my humble opinion, plus the front valance of glass cant match the steel for toughness against stones, etc

see my thread regarding my yellow fire 165hp there are photos of the Ex-Pressed valance on there.  We just used the bottom half as its meant for the facelift, but it went in well and its steel.  cost landed (if you buy 3) is about $400 each

The glass aprons fit nice - bolt them to the guards as usual, glue or rivet to the other panels. The only mod is working out fixing points for the grill and reinforcing panel to the slam panel

in rod we trust
i used a fiberglass one on my car after no steel ones were in stock at the time

the glass one fitted pretty good lined up very well

i made a steel piece that sat under  the top edge of the valance   and welded in tabs to it for the grill , then bolted that in to the inner gaurds  just in case i wanted to replace it with  steel one later . i then bolted the top of the valance to the steel piece i made  to keep it rigid
