where did the motor come from??? a mate of mine had a blow through 1600 turbs into a holley i think) in his mk2 corti years ago... and his reynella way... im just wondering if that was his old motor or something u have built up yourself????

as for that corti (mk2) it now runs an injected lpg turbo pinto.. the car has had over $40,000 spent on it.....its still waiting to get the engineers final ok, but its every now and then boosting the southern Adelaide streets....

geez thats a car i used to admire everytime i seen it years ago... i think it originaly had bathurst globes before the 16's went on...

A little bit of history on Stephens green mk1 Escort- started out as a 1300 purple 4 door, painted it kermit green on globes (correct) put a 1600 in it, gt manifold and 2ltr weber..eventually the 16's went on, then he built the blow through turbs set up from scratch on the existing motor.

My car, ive had for about 3 years, all of which since ive been in reynella, its been in my shed not running....:( Had a hot non crossflow 1700 in it, twin 45's etc.... spun a big end on that one, and bought my mates motor off him... Just got it back on the road, bar the exhaust, and the gearbox blew up :(
