I just cleaned the hubs using the old wire brush on electric drill routine

Do you know what the approximate lead time is on new wheels?

I went in search of some bolts today to mate the Escort calipers to the Capri struts. Thanks to the info provided by Hendo and Rhys I knew what I required, but unfortunately I could not obtain such bolts due to the metric/imperial mis-match. So... I instead got some 7/16" UNF bolts and managed to find some thin tubing that I can use as a sleeve in the caliper bolt holes to prevent the smaller bolts from moving around. The bolts are a little bit longer than required so will have to be cut down accordingly.

The following pic shows the tubing fitting neatly into the caliper bolt hole...

And this pic shows the new bolts fitting snugly into the tube...

Also recently purchased were new EBC Greenstuff pads for fitment to the new setup...

This weekend... painting
