hi guys i picked up Rhys dameged 4 door today here was the thread with pics before damage

i fitted a new diff with brakes and drove it on to the trailer. got it home bleed the brakes and all is now well. i havn't had a good look over as i have been working on wifes mini.

but my plans are to replace the complete front suspension and crossmember,steering rack with all the new stuff out of my 2 dr as it's going nowwhere at the moment and i want to fit coil ovver now anyway.

i will also be replace rear leafs as they are way to soft and fitting new shocks. will fix wiring as the is a few little things that need repairing also fitting rs dashboard. will fit new carpet and my set of 4 dr rs seats. new stero and then off to rego. then maybe the celica 5 speed will find it's way in there as well.

all this will happen a soon as i finsh building the wifes mini i have 8 days to get it done and i'm only up to smoothing the body out ready for paint.

won't be repairing it now guys requires some rust repairs therefore more work then it's worth for me so i'm going to part it out or sell whole for right figure. see for sale section.

its not that bad but requires new steel around fuse box which has been leaking on to passenger floor. which has been "patched" but really need to be cut out and repaired properly.

the red section shows what really needs to be replaced. the yellow section is a really crap repair that has been tacked in and lots of tar. if in an acciednt the front wheel will come throught the firewall unless this is repaired.

Rhys it is any easy fix but i dont have the motivation to start cutting cuse that means welding which means painting and also have to rip wiring out wo weld use area up which is starting to be major project which i have but i'mhoping someone may want to take it as a complete project. i picked up 2 new rims for it today just have to pain black then they can go one.

but we will see what happens throught the week i already have intrest in it as parts so it could be worth my while to part it but it really is to good to do this too but it's what i have to do.

i have put up a good offer to sell it whole i will try and move it whole but i don't really have time to fix it as i have jems mini in the shed in 1 milliom bits and i have to paint that and get it back together sooner rather then later.

there must be someone who wants an easy fix escort.
