I decided to do this conversion - ive heard some good reports. Here's how it works:

first the bracket supplied by caprisport (off ebay UK) fouls the lip on one of the steering arm bolts - consequently ive buffed off the lip of the bolt as required:

which then enabled me to fit the bracket

the mounting lugs on the original hub, for the standard rotor, have to be machined off - and the OD of the bolt up face to the hub reduced to fit inside the new rotor:

and longer studs need to be fitted - the old ones are too short when the new rotors are fitted

the Rotors are off a Sierra  XR4i 2.8 (EBC part no D216)

they don't look much different to the original but it is deceptive - when you've done it all - you can see why the reports are good

the calipers are off a Granada mk 3 2.0  (1989). Tarrox pads to fit Granada (inc scorpio) 2.0 -  85-95 (Tarox part no: 0247.112).

the standard capri brake lines are used - just a minor blending to the original capri steel pipe

it all fits inside a 13 inch rim

the backets for the rear calipers (not sure if they were caprisport) were very ordinary. (horrible). Just 2 pieces of light sheet laminated together.

I decided not to use them and had a new set made up:

sierra calipers and rotors then bolt up nice

once again - it all fits inside a 13 inch rim

Very nice, do all the parts come in the kit or do you buy it all individually?

I purchased all the parts separately. Helped me to find out exactly what is used in the kits ( I did make a couple of boo boo's) - hence all the part no's etc above. Now I can order stuff as I need it.
I'll try to install the handbrake cable tomorrow....

just out of interst Spud, what are the 13's you are planning to use?
Did you get any additional rear mounts made up at the same time?
You could end up doing kits just like the Skylinene conversions...

I'm running 13x7 magnum eliminators on this one - plenty of clearance
I'm running a Borg warner (Lsd) in this one - so the brackets I had made suit that application. ( I used it because it was lying around, already shortened, has the lsd facility and tapered roller bearings - I used to get pad knock back with the atlas in the old days because of the gummy old axle bearings they run. )
This pair of brackets cost me approximately $500.
If there was enough interest I could get - say 10 sets - made up for the atlas diff - the more sets, the cheaper they'll be. They are laser cut and u would think u could really cut the price if u had a decent run
Perhaps It's better than the skyline conversion? - u can use the original master cyl without complication, all ford parts ( for what it's worth), and the handbrake conversion is easy.
Having said that, I'm using a land rover master cyl (from Capri sport) on this car (Master cyl – Landrover defender  2.5, 3.9 – 1990 ON – PART NO: NRC8690). They bolt straight up (apart from 1 x new brake line) and give better pedal feel

Finished off all the brake lines today. All of the brakes are now set up.
Started on the handbrake mechanism.
The first pic shows the handbrake cable they supplied. Straight away u can see it wont work if u have a 2 piece tail shaft. Fortunately for me - I have a single piece

they also supplied a smaller cable to hook it to the handbrake mechanism proper

It obviously wont work with the capri handbrake. I scored one out of an escort. It bolts up the same as the capri one and looks the same

I did have to drill the lug on the handbrake out to fit the dowel that goes thru the interim cable as supplied

That's about as far as I got today. However ill ease down the thingo pictured below as it crowds the tunnel more than I like (too wide). Then ill get two cable retainers out of two automatic capris im wrecking to use on this cable - and weld them in...

Just curious, is the kit offered as bolt in and drive, or, Some modification required?  Id be annoyed if I had to make so many mods.

All apparently bolt in but it isn't - I'd just buy the parts listed above individually- still an easy conversion
