Interestingly - it's a January 1970 build - must b one of the first - hence the 1969 scuttle and washer jets

I like it and would have sourced it but I would have no balls left if my misses found out. Looks quite smick for the price but hope you can source the panels. Let me know if theirs anything I can help you with.

it had been sitting for a few years -

tyres a bit clagged but the rims are fine

I gave it a first pressure wash

most of the crud came off first time
roof, apron, bonnet, scuttle, bootlid, tail light panel, inner guards, slam panel, sills - all good. The guards need light repairs but i'll re-use no probs.
the rear quarters, doors, wheel well, front floor sections - need replacing.
The worst panel is the front fire wall - behind the heater bulge - ill have to replace it. The scuttle etc filled up with gum leaves and now its chewed out.
ive left it at the other house  - haven't taken any pics of the engine bay.  He obviously thought it was a write off due to the damage above but its in fact a very restorable car. His brother brought it new from Provincial Ford up there, did 57435 miles, took a hit in the passengers rear quarter and has been sitting there ever since - thank god Bendigo is a relatively dry climate..

Thanks Wiggy - I recon i'll be right for parts for this one - I have the panels - apart from that its a total re-trim in white (seats, door trims) and pull everything apart, check it all, replace the usuals (water pump etc) and i'll see how it goes...

looks amazing  after the clean spud.
Your not tempted to keep it the same color and go totally original?

Those tyres just need a bit of air..

At the moment I'm thinking keep it original (except fr the tyres). If I had a week I'd kill the welding..
