I have a set just like that in a Mk1 2dr Escort, looked original so assume they probably were.

I was sold a pair of seats that were suppose to have been out of a two door escort they look the same as yours, but when I went to pick them up the drivers side would not tilt apparently they are out of a van, the drivers side is fixed the passanger seat folds forward so you can get to the spare.
So I was told

If that's a original seat does anyone have the same style but drivers side? And can anyone shine some light on the questions I've asked earlier about the dash I have?

I'm located in S.A 

I am a bit to far away, I have a drivers seat frame that I don't want but the freight would be more than its worth, someone down your way may have one spare anyway

My mk1 escort van came with Gemini seats (spitooee yukko) ! A 72 escort 2dr I've rebuilt with zetec had black GT basket weave lever forward seats from factory, later mk1s have recliner seats as do all mk2s with the lever next to the recliner winder for rear passenger fast escapes!
