Must be some kind of a record for an Escort.
 
My brand new RS2000 was delivered at 4pm Friday May 9, 1980 by Thomson Ford Parramatta to an anxious 17 year old youngster who had not slept in two weeks while waiting for the delivery. Looking back at it this was a life changing moment when it arrived.
 
Thirty two years and 44,000km later and I still own the car.
