Very nice pair Spud...........the only other car that comes to mind that's so "addictive" as our Mk1 Capris, is the Ford 1971 XY 351 GT & GS Fairmont.
Not only have both cars become much sought after icons for their Racing History, but their great looks and
basic simpleness and reliability and ease to repair, must be part of the formula that makes us fall in love with them.
After sitting in a Ballarat Shed for 15 years, my intention was to buy my Wild Plum V6 GT and "flip it" for an easy 400% profit.
That little drive from Ballarat to Mt Eliza was enough to "hook" me, and I just couldnt bring myself to sell her.
The other car I want to buy which I regret selling decades ago, is a HK HT or HG Monaro (even HQ) which I'll take in any format of model, but in VG orig condition. (Just missed a freshly fully restored 186S one for $60G)

They do look good - I prefer the face lift interior

That yellow v6 - never had a capri that goes so hard - don't know what's been done to it but it hammers!
