Phil, I finished the mods on one of my link boxes today. I've left a bit of a "location recess" along the top edge so the rod covers can be spot welded to them....

The diff housing is now ready to go to the machine shop fpr shortening and bracket changes...

The advantage to the late model watts link falcon borgwarner diff is it has a drainplug,so you dont need to remove the cover to drain the oil,which I only realised today....bonus!

Its very hard to attack a floor pan with the angle grinder, Isnt it?? [8~2][8~2]. I found out about there being no drain plug on the 25spline BWs this week to. went to drain the oil.[x2x][x2x][x2x].

As far as I know,only the falcon watts linked variants have a drain plug,due to the cast alloy cover/watts link mount not being as practical to remove
