Look's the **** phil. Keep us updated, very interested to see the final result. By the way I don't suppose you have Keith Black's business number, I've been looking around but can't find him.

Thanks for the pics, so much easier to follow now. And your right, its not the most major mod, but should have a great result.

same as what i started doing. I can fit up to about 265's under the guard on the mk2 escort but the wheel diamiter cant be much higher than 620mm thou as it rubs at the in the wheel arch at the back.[B)]

Sounds similar, although it should be easier to pump the quarters on the corty and still have it look std My current wheels are 625mm rolling diameter so 650's should go in...just[:0][;^)]

Hi Simon,

I will do the majority of the metal work, with a friend to finish it all of with paint etc.I will still run the FR's but will get 2 new ones at either 9.5" or 10" depending on the room that I actually end up with.It seems 265's should definately fit but Im hoping to have space for up to 285's...may not be possible. It all depends on how the quaters respond when the inner arches are sliced,if they ripple when pushed out or it looks to obvious,I wont push it any further than room for 265's.

Testing,testing[%][:p]

The small tyre pictured is a 215/45/R17 and the bigger one is a 265/35/R18. The 265 fits with some contact but nothing a tap or a bump wont fix...with another 15mm available on the inside between the coilover spring and tyre. It seems that 275's may be the limit with the current setup once the work is finished....what a shame[:o)][:u][(#)][;^)]
