Hi guys,
anyone know where you can get chrome bumper bolts for 72 V6. Are they the same as Escorts? Mine are a bit tardy and couple have snapped during removal. Cheers PSR

Escort should be the same, but to avoid tears later on when you want to undo ANY thread especially if exposed to weather, ALWAYS smear threads with COPPERCOTE or GRAPHITE GREASE or "NEVA SEEZ", especially on Exhaust Manifold nuts or bolts

Thanks guys,
I know I can get Escort ones in UK and Holden and Falcon ones here but was unsure as to compatibility with Capri.
Have not seen any Capri ones for sale. cheers PSR.

MK1 Escort are an exact fit. There is a kit that comes with the plastic spacers from a UK company something like Escorts Are Us?? not cheap as a pair is about $40 landed

you can buy stainless cup head bolts locally at places that specialize ss hardware or maybe even bunnings.

in rod we trust

when buying them ask if they are chrome and original style i grabed a set and only to find out it was stainless with markings on the head .. didnt like em at all ... you can get some from bunnings and get them chrome .grab some white or black plastic solid rod drill them out
