Yeah the dry sump is awesome, no more worries about oil surge. Thanks for the tip but i noticed it just after i posted the pictures, luckily the lift on the cam isn't enough to actually warrant the valve cutouts they just came like that so i won't have to change them. By the way i finished torquing the head today and putting on the all the ancillaries like timing chain, balancer oil pump, sump and fuel pump cover, looks really schmick, can't wait to get it in the car.

Alright guys, it's finally ready to go. The carbies and hoses have been sorted, the head is all finished off with the rocker gear all set. Also had the inspiration to upgrade the suspension while I'm at it. I have decided to go with coilovers and adjustable strut tops on the front with Volvo four spot calipers, on the back i am putting in a four link with panhard rod with pintara rear calipers and coilovers and last but not least I am making my own bias pedal box to run the brakes smoothly. luckily I have managed to procure a spare set of everything so at the moment i am just preparing everything to make it as easy as possible for the installation. Also have got an engineer overseeing all this so it will be all legal for the street!!!

All right guys, I've managed to progress a little further. I bought a full set of rose joints for the four link and panhard bar far cheaper than anywhere in Australia. Simon sent me the coilover kit and I have welded those onto the spare struts, I've stripped bare a spare diff housing and have welded on bracing to support it. Have also fabricated four link brackets and welded onto diff. The volvo calipers I bought have been mounted on to the strut with elongated holes, and a nice surprise was that the late model 2.8injected capri discs also suit the volvo four pot conversion with 4.5mm spacers on the caliper. Just a couple of pics of the completed struts. Will add some photos of the diff next week when i pick it up from Dad's school.
