If anyone is wrecking a shell I'm chasing the part of the transmission tunnel around the gear lever hole.  About three inches around the hole would be great.
 
I'm also looking for a stock air filter assembly for a 1600 Weber.

Thanks, that sounds good, I don't suppose you have a photo of it ?  I'm just a bit worried that the Capri intake tube might foul with the battery in an Escort ?

ps ...........any idea where I can buy Capri Glovebox Books (Maintenance Schedule+Owners Guide) ?
..........and do you know if those books were different for GTV6 as for 1600??

Thanks anyhow Bernie.  No idea about the glovebox books apart from the usual swap meets.  I've picked up a couple of Escort books there.  Not a Capri man myself (until I get hold of a Mk3 :)   )
