I know this has prob been covered a lot but what is the easiest was to undo the braze welds on the mk2 front guard? I have drilled all along the top and around the light. I just want to know how other people have gone about this.

question one, are you saving the guard your taking off?
there is  or maybe brass  welds at the top where the guard below the headlamp joins the front apron and possibly at the lower point of the guard and apron,
sometimes also behind the headlamp base at the top where it joins the apron headlamp hole,
and also sometimes at the sill panel area
you can use a hack saw to just slice through the brass in some spots and you will have to use oxy to melt in another spot
you still have spot welds down the seam of the front apron to lower front guard.

No I don't plan on keeping it as its taken a hit and is beyond repair. Good thing I'm a plumber and my boss has oxy :/
