hey brian whats happned? that bang sounded pritty bad, then the wobbeling????

oh and for the people that may doubt the speed this thng has........

it flies!! took him on, on the way home from work un he would fly passed me with ease!!! untill the big bang that is[;^)][:x)][V]

dont think it was a diff????still had good drive and no rattle etc....

it had a pritty severe swerve to it when acceleration applied so......[xo][xo][8~2]

didnt blow the diff seems like the left axel broke still drives but with a very big swerve when he gives it a bit of gas.

i jacked the left wheel off the ground to see if it would spin with handbrake off and it spun it shouldnt do that cause it has a locked diff.

we will see

i'm taking the wheel off tomorrow (sunday) cos i've been at work all day, ummm.... i do believe it to be a snapped left axel. however it did get side ways off the line , dropped the clutch at about 4500rpm , the back end moved to the right , hit close to redline and then bang[xx(]!!, i immediately thought it was the diff, i still had drive tho, when i accelerated it pulled to the left. i got it home and jacked it up and i can spin the left wheel independently (i have a welded diff) [:-(]not good!
i'm going to the wreckers (upullit) to find a mk1 left axel (if it works out to be that)
if its good i'll post some pix

i got a couple of pix but i'm having trouble uploading.
the end of the axel looks like a soft serve ice cream.
so any one have a good diff i can buy?

I have no idea what I'm looking at, but it looks broken. [:p]

I can see that all the toes have fallen off onto the floor. ooops, i guess itdidn't like being attached to you.[88]
