This is my 1975 Mk1, used to be well known in Adelaide from previous owners. When i found her she was in a bad state but being my first mk1 that had some good points i had to have it. Started life with a 2lt, 4 speed, lsd diff, cut front springs, capri legs, full autometre dash and a strange scoop. Seemed like a good start for me at the time...

After some saving some paint was in order to restore the body to something a little less attractive to the fuzz.

Then it was time for some new interior, the velo 'milano' seats were retained as well as the dash. The rear seat was removed and rear boarded up with a sub box for some tunes. Alpine head unit, front splits and 12". The crossovers were rear mounted and fushion 4 channel amp was also.

The motor was also rebuilt around this time as the previous one dropped a valve. The engine bay was resprayed and a short time later another motor was found.

The motor was then cleaned, chromed and painted. The install was easy with the addition of a world cup cross member and heavy duty engine mounts, the sump was not modified.

More recently: Gearbox (supra w58)and custom crossmember monuted. Diff (skyline lsd 31 spline) from Phil off the forum, and turbo off Phil again (GT28/40) now polished and bagged. WCXM, Coilover kit, adjustable TCA's, Panhard rod, Bias pedal box all from burtons. Haltech E6x engine mangement. Plenum spacer plate. Metres and metres of costly braided hose and fittings!!! Anti dive. Radtech radiator and intercooler combo with twin 10" spal fans. Oil cooler hidden infront of front wheel. Pbr 290mm twin pot calipers brake upgrade. Reset rear leafs.

So thats where i am about now, still a bit to go and more stuff to buy: run fuel lines & brake lines, msd ignition, eboost2, intercooler plumbing, tailshaft, exhaust, engine mangement wiring etc. Will try to keep post up to date this time!!
Cheers Luke.
