will be heading down to transport SA in the next few days with some photos of my welding job in the firewall to see if its fine. if it is then the motor and box will go in this week. finally.

well its been a quiet few months for the eskie.

everything has just seemed to happen at once.
firstly i was involved in a crash ( im my runaround car)not too much damage but not worth fixing. and with me doing yr 12 and only working one day a week its hurting the escort fund( which was small enough already) to pay the insurance excess.
i got given a vn commo which breaks down every 10 meters so ive spen more money getting that semi reliable.
i have Australian titles for my gokarting in a month so ive been getting everything orginised for that.
on top of this ive got soo much work for yr12 so the escort is taking the back seat while i get that done.

last weekend was the first time i actually had a whole day on it. got the motor turning over by the starter motor. still alot of wiring to go but its a start. all in all its getting very close to getting fired up for the first time.

still a fair way to go but its getting there, slowly

due to some unforeseen circumstances i haven't been able to work on the car since november..........untill today.

it was agonizing seeing the eskie soo close to running and not being able to do anything about it.

but now im feeling better because i finished up all that needed to be done to get her running. now she is still a way off from beeing roadworthy. i still need to get an exhaust fitted and a few other odd jobs.

but i was finally able to move her out the shed today and give her a clean and polish.

here are some pics ( sorry bout my s**t photography)Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
