Hey Rod.Thanks for the heads up mate.
Same cost as Burton but no shipping costs which is great. Do you know if they're LH starter as opposed to LH + RH starter?
Cheers

I was told that you can use the alloy bell housing from the automatic box with an adapter plate.
Ill try to find out more if anyone is interested.

from memory the bell housing is the same configuration as a standard 2ltr one.

So auto bell housing bolts straight up to manual box, but need to cut out the area for clutch fork?

It doesn't bolt straight up to the manual box, you need an adapter plate. The only person i know who sells the adapter plate is Edgar at Fjordfour Motors in Victoria. Maybe give him a call and ask?
I also think you'll need to cut a hole for the clutch fork.

Probably a daft question but whats the main reason to use the auto bell housing behind a manual box, is it purely for the weight saving ?
