Let go at the fastest part of the track! I'd have re-coloured my pants for sure.
 
I see some comments saying it should have had a tailshaft loop. I think looking at its setup it would have had one but don't think a tailshaft loop will stop too much flat out down the back straight, I'm sure it could have been alot worse if there wasn't one at all.
 
Driver looks quite composed when it happened.

So what let go - tailshaft or uni joint?

Unis look ok in pic. Tailshaft sheared in two. Don't know the cause of that though.
 
 

I like how after he stops he looks across.. you can see in his head he is thinking wtf was that. Waiting for his brain to catch up.
