Likewise for me. I bought some stainless ones from Harringtons. No problems. Cost me less landed in Australia than the quote I got to refurbish chrome ones. It was a no-brainer for me and so far no sign of deterioration.

I did stock the Harrington ones but have run out of stock.

They are good, very close to original but they can scratch easily. I left mine in the top tray of my tool box and are now scratched and I can't seem to get them out. (although not tried to buff them)

I too looked at the cost of un-denting and chroming a set of van rears and the Harrington ones make better sense.

Hi Smcka.

Are you planning on re-stocking?
If so what the price?

Thanks.

I'll look at the costs. I didn't get that great a discount last time so by the time they landed and the Man took his duty etc there wasn't much left to work with. I last sold them for $300/set so the feebay ones for $250 are hard to beat on the face of it.

I'll get in contact with them and see what comes up.

just on the cost of chroming question, i just rang a few places ( in WA ) this morning to get prices on chroming a set of quarter bumpers and the quotes ranged from $100per corner to $150per corner ( so $200 - $300 for a set ).

i just aquired a set of brand new, NOS, unpainted quarter bumpers so they will be off to the chromers when we are ready.

Hi All.

I ended up buying the ones off ebay for the $250.
Postage was $20.
They are chromed steel not stainless but I'm very happy with them.

Joe.
