Hi Guys, Anybody got any easy ways to remove window tint.

When I did it, i was able to lift an edge and get most of it off in one sheet. After that, the best way to get the excess glue off was with a razor blade and then a clean up with metho afterwards. The razor blade wont scratch your window and hopefully you don't need to do the rear with the demister. It is time consuming, but it came up a treat. I'm not sure if anyone has any better ideas.

Had a tinter at work the other week and he used a portable steamer on all the windows and [ut all new stuff on in less than 4 hours

yeah have heard the pro's steaming the tint off pretty much, guess it just heats the glue to a point to make it easier to pull away from the glass....

I myself have done it by the pull method and just cleaning the residue glue off with rubbing alcohol...but yes its time comsuming!

Paint thinners worked for me (after you've lifted the tint off and are just left with the glue)

I have used a hot air gun in the past which is pretty easy and quick, Just clean up the remaining glue with some thinners and your done!
