have been looking into a supercharger for my rs for a while and have finally decided to do it.

at the moment i have a 205 block that is getting machined as we speak,
forged low comp pistons,
h-beam rods
nitrided crank
block is being o-ringed, blue printed and bored

injected head hopefully by next week that will be extensively flowed got a kent valve kit, cant remember the numbers atm but its a large supercharger cam, PO something...
using stainless standard valves

supercharger is Eaton M90
unsure on carb or fuel system yet still seeking advice on that one

exhaust consists of pacemaker headers (1 5/8 primaries, 1 7/8 secondaries) with 2 1/4 stainless exhaust.

large alloy radiator out of mates speedway car

all wiring is getting hidden by another mate that is an auto sparky, washer bottle will be relocated to inside passenger side guard

brake booster and master cylinder will be replaced with bias pedal box (willwood masters) if its legal, have to check that out or itll be done after rego.

while im at it front suspension will be upgraded to capri 2.8 struts, with coilovers, world cup x-member and alloy sump fitted larger sway bar (undecided on size) and anti dive kit, all new tie rod ends ect and steering bushes to go with my quick rack

well thats my speil quite long but had to say it.

atm the engine bay has been stripped and not alot else, progress report next week

Sounds like a it will be a wepond.
Make sure you intercool your M90 or it will just make lots of HOT air. I have one on my V6 and just running at idle for a few min, you can hardly hold your hand on outlet pipe, give it a good run and it will almost burn you.[B)]

Thinking about it, it may not be to bad only feeding a 2.0l engine. you will want to spin it at about 1.5x engine speed where as i am spinning at at about 2.75x engine speed.[B)]
Do your own reserch a bit further before scraping the idea.[%]

ok, been a while since i last posted.
had a few problems with finding the right pistons. finally found a set, thanks to boosted and nathan.
block is being bored this week, was supposed to happen ages ago but hey thats the way things go.
have an alloy welder coming aound early next week to help me sort out the intake manifold, will be a modified twin weber maifold.
getting a crank pully made up for 8 psi and gotta decide on a clutch.
dummy building the engine hopefully next week to get deck height and make sure everything is good then the short motor will be sent to Perth to get balanced, blue printed and o-ringed.
hope to have the head done by then but the bloke that is doin it is busy bsuy so ill have to wait for him to fiish so i can get the head grooved to suit the o-rings
fuel system is going to be twin 45's sitting ontop of the enine about where the standard breather is and bonnet will have to be raised to suit.
while all that is being done ill be arranging the front suspension brakes ect, just removed the fuel tank so i can get the lower part of the boot raised and a custom ally drop tank made up. looking for a falcon diff to bolt into the rear end.

so still alot to do, been hard xos i have been in Perth alot lately but its all starting to move ahead now
will keep you guys posted

oh yer and looking at 250+ RWBHP so should be a bit of a weapon

ok been a while since last post and not alot has happened. been talking to a fair few ppz and they have finally convinced me to go injected, so ill bee looking into that now, also will be running and intercooler to. looking at a weber converted to a throttle body to and all injectors hidden ect, hopefully to look stock, well as stock as you can with an m90 hangin off the side

the project has turned into a long termer now, full spray job all rust repaired and some body mods ect.

pulled the interior out on the weekend and unfortunatley found passenger floor rusted [B)] just another thing to add to the list.
heres some pics anyway

just playin with locations of the carb before i decided to change

the car now and my great shed...eer work area

interior before

now the bad stuff, the cancerous areas before stripping any paint
