I say respray in that colour, and fit some wide steels and hubcaps like my chop. THose rims came of a Mk2 wagon in the same/very similar colour.

mk2maniac's chop looks really good, if it comes out looking that good it will be one mint cruiser.. Only thing I'm not sure about is the red you can see on the wheels.

i like wat ya did mk2 maniac but im with andrew i think im gonna do black rims white body hubcaps and those chrome things on the rims. then lower it 2 inchs. then it will be good for wat i want.

Yeah, I guess I'm more into the nostalgiac look the red gives it, making it stand out a bit.

i just love black rims thats all. bit of work done to it today see if i can get some photos up.

couple of hours work today tryin to get used to playin with bog again.

They look good in white, whether it's refrigerator white or off white. Red vinyl on the inside looks good with off white, but that's just me and my liking of slightly more eccentric colour combinations again.

I hope your beating those panels and replacing the cancerous metal, not just bogging it, even if it is going to be a daily. It deserves it, the Mk2 really isn't recognised enough, which I suppose is good because it's more unique, not just your ever popular Mk1 or Mk3, or commomn as a house fly Mk4 and 5.

I'd love to resurect another Mk2 as a daily, but I think I'll wait till I've finished my V8 Mk2 first.
