Interesting interior originally fitted to your cars was W2, which is White with cloth trim.  The cloth would have been Hawaiian Tropic (spectrum) I have never seen that version in white vinyl (only in the green vinyl).  From memory your car was advertised in NSW about 2 years ago or so, made its way to Victoria then on to you.

I'm sure its gone thru a few changes over the years, I'm just glad to have one that is in great nick and goes well.
She certainly is a crowd pleaser, everytime I take her out people stop for a chat and want to take photos.
Do you remember where you seen it advertised? Your timeline of about 2 years ago is spot on. I wonder how much they were asking for it then...

Hi All, after an incident at a local carpark, I'm now in the market for a good quality rear bumper bar for my MK1 GT Capri :-(
If anyone has any leads it would be greatly appreaciated, Col

no!
Hopefully it was just the bumper and no paint.
Ive got one if you get stuck.
Was off my car until a yera or so ago when I bought repro's, so 40+ years of original patina, but otherwise straight and pretty reasonable.
PM if you like.

Ahhh, that would be this mob I'm guessing >> Anna Anna Ptt Bumper in Vietnam. I was wondering if they were ridgydidge or not. How would you rate the quality?

What, did I find them, I thought they started advertising on here themselves. Glad they are a ridgydidge outlet for stainless bumpers tho

yes, it was Anna from PT Bumper, although I know they pop up on different classic car forums under different names.
Happily they did turn out to be legit.
Bumpers where straight, and I got polished stainless.
They came complete with mounting bolt kit, and corner tube spacers for the bumperettes.
The inner curves needed reprofilling abit at the front guards, but to be fair that could be more relative to the shape of my car.
Pretty happy with them, as I finally got bumperettes, to pair with minilights.

Thanks Deano, they look very swish! I came across this mob after a bit of web searching https://www.vinneys.com.au/

Turns out they have an ebay store that just happened to have exactly what I need, its a bit pricey but the Insurance company has plenty of money :-) https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/266180435112?hash=item3df9971ca8:g:5fwAAOSw0l5kF9Yp

Its on its way to me now, happy days!
