From what you have written I'm not sure if you are aware that when the car was new the position for the 4th switch would have had a blanking plate covering the hole, on the attached scan it is marked 13K732.

Hi Phil,
Thanks for that, thought that might be the case. I had a switch in there which I used to prime my fuel system when I had a manual fuel pump, but now my electric fuel pump is hard wired . Switch is gone so might try to find one and use the decal for the driving light kit just to fill the gap so it looks period.

Looking at the diagram of the dash layout: Always amazes me how little there is to these older cars compared to the new cars and we were still very happy in them.

Hi Len, I have a Mk2 Escort driving light switch (but no car for it to go into). Would come up pretty good with minimal effort but the raised driving light symbol would need painting. Cheers Jamie
