High Andrew
A lot of recaro seats had the actual seat number on the base of the seat, not sure about what you have there, as I have not seen at set in this color as black and leather was popular in the late 70 and 80. Recaro seats distribution was still operating in Australia several years ago, but a lot of copies are on the market now, I would not believe the recaro badge untill I confirmed the seat with a either recaro manufacturer or a Distributer if they still exist. Other than that check with the older car trimmers, but you may have to take a seat to them to identify. The fabric just looks too good for an older recaro but they may have been retrimed with the rear set to match. They suffer from the bolster wear like any sport seat with a raised bolster on the door side.
