Hey guys i know there are a few threads kicking around but i cant seem to find the right answer. I am wanting to convert my mk 2 escort from square lights to round lights. Can somebody who has completed this please shed some light on what headlights they used (close beam/sealed) and how they got them mounted as i cannot find any headlights with the brackets coming off of them like the square lights have. Im assuming you will need either original headlights or an after market mounting bucket of some sort. If anybody has used an aftermarket bucket can you please post the link it would be greatly appreciated!

The headlight bucket that's screwed to the car can take round or square lights, the pins which do the adjusting just get moved to accept round. Any 7" lamp will fit as they're universal, so a light from a early falcon or Datsun will fit, you will need the chrome ring and the ashtray looking bowl to locate and kept in line with a small tension spring .
I kept the squares on my van and added LED H4 bulbs so there's ways to get them to brighten the streets... Rounds do look way better tho 👍
