Have not decided on what ill do with the battery as of yet.

Mechanic found some 280mm rotors and APs in his spare parts pile so maybe could look at a brake upgrade pending. No off the shelf brackets are available so i would need to talk to an engineering firm about making some up, Just ideas atm but a possibility. About 1.5kg lighter each side also.

Also the diff after i attacked it with the wire wheel.

Thanks mate, the Detailer worked pretty hard on the car, the photos on stanceworks do get some extra attention in photo shop tho. The shoot was just for some good personal photos to have of the car, the photographer recently started submitting his work to stanceworks and asked if he could send in some of mine. Id wish i had a few small things tidied up first but oh well.

Found myself a OEM clock, keen to put that in. Ive heard they hold terrible time tho! ha

It would be preferable to know the piston sizes of the new calipers to assess what differences it will make to you brake bias and pedal effort. I assume you still have the stock rear drums and booster etc?
Great stuff with the article. Looks great!

Yes still all standard from a braking point of view atm. The piston sizes are 38.1x4 on the cp7600 calipers.

Ideally id upgrade from the back towards the front, Although i have not purchased a bias box yet. Waiting to see what the dollar does towards the pound and shipping anything atm is horrible with wait times. No rush, just something to keep my mind ticking over on!

Got crafty this arvo, to slot on when we put the diff in. I like small oem but different touches

Hi Robbie, maybe group 4 fabrications in Ireland might have mounting brackets, nuts, bolts etc for your AP's.

I’ve reached out to the Uk. Most of the calipers in the “off the shelf” kits are 152 mounting centers, these calipers are 130 so they don’t stock them. Also being a odd rotor size means getting the offset and spacing is tricky from afar. Guess that’s the joy of raiding the parts bin.

Unfortunately the stereo has been held up do to parts not arriving, so pushed on with the small jobs

New spot light switch in, very happy with how it came out, really neat.

Clock is in and slowly ticking along. Just need to switch out the stereo and should be all done for the inside. Least the stereo change wont require it all coming apart again.

Hi Robbie, if you need to invent caliper adapters you can dummy them up from craft wood (I was going to was to say alloy but it could get tedious) or similar, once the shape and mountings are worked out from the template it can go to the machinist to make in alloy . I fitted Wilwood NDL to my mk1 van and luckily only needed a 7mm thick plate drilled and tapped .
