GTV6
I've touched on this before and have finally got around to giving it a go on a clutch boot.  From photos found on this site and taking measurements off the car I made a cad model of a boot and 3D printed a rough part for verification.  Next step is to tweak the model, add the stiffening rib details and then I will 3D print the mould.  I have designed it to be self supporting so the metal spring clip wont be needed.  The print was done by a mate for free but its about $7 worth of material so far.

Great going, now try the early GT "ice cream cone" mirror that would sell well

Nah not looking to start a production line just playing with the bits that I need.  I much prefer the XA mirrors anyway.

What 3D printer are you using. If anyone had one big enough for the front instrument cluster it would be interesting. Although looks like you know what your doing on a part like this. Love it. Thumbs up from me.

I reckon you'd be able to make a few sales if you could 3d print the opaque interior light bezel.
Mines crumbled many year ago, and if you can get the correct one, not escort or narva which are a different size, the price is blood money.

The problem of course is the 3d printing stock, not going to be very functional light wise.

There's a Commodore light that is virtually identical (more clear than opaque I think) - part no. 90051501; just have to file down one retaining lip a bit and it pops straight in. Coventry's stocks them.

cheers Flighter, that's great.

I've put up with a dodgy light for the past 10 years, and it lets downan otherwise neat interior
I'll track one down, much appreciated!
